Registration Information
Member and non-member registrations are inclusive of entry to
all keynote and concurrent speaker sessions, morning and afternoon
tea and lunch (Monday and Tuesday), the Welcome Reception (Sunday),
Networking Dinner (Monday) and the Gala Dinner and Awards Night
(Tuesday) and conference materials including the delegate package.
Day registration is inclusive of entry to all keynote and
concurrent speaker sessions, morning and afternoon tea and lunch on
the chosen day of registration and the delegate package. All
registration fees are inclusive of GST.
Accommodation
Group Accommodation bookings have been made three Accor
Properties in Cairns. Please note that the Mercure is approximately
two kilometres from the Pullman Reef Hotel, and will operate a
shuttle bus between hotels for conference delegates. The Novotel is
approximately one kilometre from the Pullman, and the shuttle will
also stop there if required. There are other hotels surrounding the
Pullman Reef if you wish to seek your own accommodation.
Business and Cultural Tour
The Business and Cultural Tour is an optional full day tour on
Wednesday 15th September and will include presentations on
eco-tourism, indigenous tourism, how the global financial crisis
and recent floods have affected the local tourism industry and risk
management (the Kuranda Train has recently been out of service due
to landslides). We will be visiting iconic tourist destinations
such as the Skyrail and the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Accompanying
persons are welcome to attend. If you would like to participate
please indicate on the registration form the number of tickets you
would like to purchase. The ticket price is inclusive of all
transfers, entry fees, tour, morning tea and lunch.
Registration Payment
Please note that conference registration is not confirmed until
full payment is received. Pre-payment of all registration fees is
required to confirm your attendance at the conference. All
delegates will be forwarded a confirmation letter upon receipt of
payment.
Payment Options
Payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express is available
via the online registration at www.sbdc.org.au
Direct Deposit and cheque payments are also available.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of registration will be accepted up until the 12th
of August. A full refund will be forwarded minus a $100.00
processing fee. Any cancellation of registration after this date is
not refundable, however transfer of registration is welcome. All
accommodation cancellations or amendments are subject to the Hotel
cancellation policy of one night’s accommodation charge or all
nights’ accommodation charge within a 24-hour arrival date. All
non-arrivals to the hotel will be charged for all room nights.
Notification of all registration and accommodation cancellations or
amendments must be forwarded in writing to conference@becaustralia.org.au. |
